Columbus Landing Site

On Wednesday, I went to the Columbus landing site before heading to the airport. This is where Columbus landed in 1493 during his second voyage. It is the site of the first documented hostile encounter between Europeans and Native Americans.

From the Columbus landing site, I drove to the auto rental facility and they brought me back to the airport.

This is the entrance to baggage claim — This is also where they offer you a free rum punch when you arrive
