Short Trip to Northern California
This is an itinerary for a short trip that we took to Northern California in August, 2008.
Timeframe
Karen has arranged for time off from her job as a pastry chef at Tom Colicchio's Craft Steak restaurant at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods Casino, starting after work on Friday, 15 August (my birthday) and returning to work on Friday, 22 August, 2008.
Flights
We will use my United Airlines miles to obtain tickets to Sacramento, CA. Since Karen has to work on Friday, we would not be able to get to the airport in time for a Friday evening flight, so we will leave Saturday morning and arrive in CA a little after noon.
Hotel
We will be using my Hilton points for a room at the Hilton Sacramento Arden West. (2200 Harvard St, Sacramento, CA) I had wanted to stay at the Embassy Suites, but there were no rooms available with king size beds, just two doubles.
